iPhone 5 latest news
At mobile118
we try to keep you up-to-date with all the latest news about
the latest offering from Apple the iPhone 5.
Its
been reported by the The Wall Street Journal that the iPhone
5 will feature a 'different form factor adopting a brand
new design following the antenna issues that resulted in
signal issues and dropped calls'. So in plain English it
will look better and hopefully we wont see a repeat of any
of the disappearing signal issues the iPhone 4 suffered.
On the flip side, some leaked designs and images tell a
different story suggesting that the only aesthetic change
for the iPhone 5 will be a larger display.
Another
rumored improvement for the iPhone 5 is an all-metal back
similar to that found on the original iPhone. Again this
will help with the disappearing signal issues experienced
on the iPhone 4. The glass screen of the iPhone 4 was also
prone to unsightly cracks if treated roughly so its rumored
a tougher upgraded screen will be added.
And
finally those helpful people at Apple will also make choosing
your network an easier process as reports suggest that the
iPhone 5 will include an integrated SIM allowing Apple to
assign networks to individual handsets. Not sure how this
will work when you want to sell your handset though? On
the positive side users can now pick a network provider
with their purchase, then Apple simply program the new device
to that phone network eliminating the need for shoppers
to wait for Vodafone/Orange/O2/3/Virgin
to activate their handset or for the arrival of the SIM.
Release date? September 2012, but we will keep you posted on any developments...
